Corporate Responsibility - also called corporate conscience, corporate citizenship or responsible business) is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model. CSR policy functions as a self-regulatory mechanism whereby a business monitors and ensures its active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards and national or international norms. With some models, a firm’s implementation of CSR goes beyond compliance and engages in “actions that appear to further some social good, beyond the interests of the firm and that which is required by law. We really believe that whatever we do affects the environment, as such we are committed to managing these activities that give rise to impacts upon the environment. The company management system has accredited for environment safety and health. This is used as the cornerstone for continuous environmental improvement throughout the company. We measure our performance through audit and environmental indicators and use feedback to improve our method of work. We known and realize that the most environmental impact is likely to be during the construction work. Compliance with environmental legislation and other environmental requirements, including those of our client is our minimum requirement and provides the foundation upon which we manage. We provide our staff with the skills and knowledge to identity assess and manage the environmental and social issues associated with site work and ensure that when we engage sub-contractors, they are also aware of and have the resources to manage the environmental issue associated with the project. Health and Safety is of utmost importance for our company.
